主讲人简介:

Xudong Zhao, Male, BEng. MSc. DPhil. CEng. MCIBSE, is the Director of Research and Chair Professor at the School of Engineering and Computer Science, University of Hull (UK), and has enjoyed a global reputation as a distinguished academia in the areas of sustainable building services, renewable energy and energy efficiency technologies, and mechanical engineering. Over more than 30 years of professional career, he has led or participated in 55 research projects funded by EU, EPSRC, Royal Society, Innovate-UK, Royal Academy of Engineering, China Ministry of Science and Technology and industry with accumulated fund value in excess of £14 million, 40 engineering consultancy projects worth £5 million, and claimed 11 patents. Up to date, he has supervised 27 PhD students and 17 postdoctoral research fellows, published 176 peer-reviewed papers in high impact journals and referred conferences; involved authorization of 5 books, chaired, organized, gave keynote (invited) speeches in 25 international conferences. His research in PV/T (photovoltaic/thermal) and sustainable heating & cooling has achieved world-class standards, )having been selected as '2017 world highly cited researchers', having received the ‘European Dragon-STAR Innovation Silver Award (2nd place)’, ‘World Society of Sustainable Energy Technology 1st and 2th Round Innovation Awards’ in consecutive years of 2016 and 2017, and being nominated as a candidate for ‘2018 World Eni-awards’. He is currently undertaking a number of important national and international roles, including: (1) Executive Board Member of the ‘World Society of Sustainable Energy Technologies’; (2) Executive Management Board Member of the ‘International Conference Series for Sustainable Energy Technologies’; (3) Steering Committee Member of the ‘European District Heating and Cooling Technology Platform’ involving development of work documents for European Commission in this subject; (4) Guest Lead Editors for the ‘International Journal of Photo-energy’, ‘Energies’, and ‘Frontier of Energy Researches’; (5) was the editorial board members of 'Energy', 'Applied Energy', 'Energies', ‘Future Cities and Environment’, ‘Frontiers in Built Environment and Mechanical Engineering’, ‘Heat Exchangers’, ‘Sustainable Cities and Society’, ‘Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning’ and ‘Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering’; (6) The referee for EU FP7 programme, colleague member of EPSRC (UK), referee of ESRC (UK), French National Agency (ANR), Kazakhstan National Science and Technology Ministry, Portugal Science and Technology section and Hong Kong Research Grant Council; and (7) UK Newton Fund Programme Advisor focusing on China related research collaboration. 赵旭东,男,英国赫尔大学工程与计算机科学学院科研副院长和首席教授,研究方向:可持续建筑、可再生能源和能源效率技术。他承担过55个由欧盟、英国自然科学基金委、英国皇家学会、创新英国、英国皇家工程院和中国科学技术部资助的项目,累计经费超过1400万英镑,他承担的40余个工程咨询项目累计经费500万英镑,并获得11项发明专利。迄今为止,他指导了27名博士生和17名博士后研究员,在高水平期刊和会议上上发表了176篇论文;出版著作5部,并在25个国际会议上作了大会主题演讲。被选为“2017世界高被引学者”,获得了“欧洲龙星创新银奖(第二名)”,在2016和2017连续两年获得“世界可持续能源技术第一和第二轮创新奖”,并被提名为 “2018世界埃尼奖” 的候选人。他目前正在承担一些重要的国家和国际学术兼职,包括:(1)“可持续能源技术世界协会”的执行局成员;(2)“可持续能源技术国际会议系列”的执行管理委员会委员;(3)“欧洲区域供暖和制冷技术平台”的指导委员会委员;(4)国际杂志’Photo-energy’, ‘Energies’, 和 ‘Frontier of Energy Researches’的客座主编;(5)国际杂志 'Energy', 'Applied Energy', 'Energies', ‘Future Cities and Environment’, ‘Frontiers in Built Environment and Mechanical Engineering’, ‘Heat Exchangers’, ‘Sustainable Cities and Society’, ‘Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning’ 和 ‘Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering’的编委;(6)欧盟FP7项目的评审专家,EPSRC(英国)评审专家,ESRC(英国)的审阅人,是法国国家机构(ANR)、哈萨克斯坦国家科学技术部、葡萄牙科学技术组、香港研究资助委员会成员;以及(7)英国牛顿基金的项目顾问,专注于中国相关的合作研究。
